a very good friend of mine, my boss at the first dotcom i worked for back in 1999/2000, had a nice job as a big manager at a very famous online poker site. he was something like the CTO of the european office. that was over a year ago. he once told me that he has to deal with many serious threats against their software. really hardcore hackers tried to fuck up the whole online poker software not each day, more like each hour a few times. so they made the software as unhackable as possible. they write company own compilers, contracted the coders with high payed loans, they even hired hackers to hack the software and whatnot... a long time i believed that this kind of software must be one of the most secure application on the planet.
"i mean if you're good you could easy make a few millions each month", thats what he said.
