finally, im so sick of paypal, i have to write about it.
most of you probably dont know it but im german. (yeah, that probably explains my weird english...)
but because im living VERY near the border to austria i own an austrian bank account. this has many benefits. for example i'm tax free over there, i get more % for my money and the service is way better.

now comes paypal. because im german i need a paypal.de account. problem is that you only can add a german bank account into your german paypal account. but we will talk about this later.
first of all, 6 months ago i was surfing over TOR. as you know at this time my ip was from a different country so it wasnt a really good idea to log into paypal with this "strange" ip. i did it anyway, because i didnt think paypal cares about it but paypal did.

5 minutes later my paypal account was "limited" to only receiving money because of a "supposed hacking attempt". to make a long story short, after 12 weeks of sending a copy of my passport, an adress verification from the city and a statement of my german bank account (i owned one at that time) i got my paypal account back.

now comes the austrian bank account story, not yet finished:
you cant add a bank account from another country, it even doesnt matter if austria and germany are next to each other and both countries are in the EU. i solved the problem with creating a paypal account on paypal.at - problem was, i created a basic account. those accounts are limited to 750,- euro per 30 days and you have to verify the paypal.at account with a creditcard. this creditcard must be owned by someone in austria.
after thinking, searching and testing around without owning an austrian creditcard i decided to call the customer service. they told me that its not possible to verify an austrian paypal account without an austrian creditcard, i also told them that this is bad for me because i dont own an austrian creditcard. remember, i told them that i didnt own a creditcard with an austrian adress.
5 minutes later i got a mail that my austrian paypal account is now "limited" because of security reasons. one of the points to reactivate was to add a creditcard.

now i was very angry and called the customer service again. the guy on the phone laughed after i told him about it and told me i should send in a adress verification like a bill or something and write an e-mail that they should send back the money thats still on it to my german paypal account and close the austrian paypal account because its against the TOS to open a paypal account in another country anyway...
i did so and nothing happend for a week. i wrote a mail and called the support again. for 3 weeks now its every few days the same, i call or mail them, i explain the problem, i explain myself why i did this, i explain them that its possible to have only an austrian bank account because we living in the EU, i tell them that its not money laundering because its my money i earned legally and its my bank account and everytime i get the same answer... "we'll take care and call you back!".
after the last mail from the irish paypal HQ support bitch on monday who told me that what i did is in her eyes money laundering, i decided that was the last straw and i called my lawyer. he told me to first do what they say and just wait because it was my fault to create an austrian account from germany. anyway, they have a lot of my money and i cant access it, so i should wait like 2-3 weeks and then i can try to force them by law to get my money back. meanwhile i talked with my support bitch again and she told me that they are on it and that she doesnt understand why i want my money back on my german account because if i dont own a german bank account i cant move the money to nowhere. i told her that i can send the money to my girlfriend and she can withdraw it to her german bank account. after this the support bitch told me that this is illegal because there are no "goods" involved in this transaction so its against the TOS. to the question how to get my money, she couldnt really answer and just said i can get into "trouble". again i asked her what to do now and from what side this trouble would come she replyed that she doesnt know, that a paypal account probably doesnt fit my needs and the trouble would come from paypal because paypal is a bank. i told her that i really dont care about paypal anymore because i just want to use paypal to make money and if i cant access this earned money i change the service after i got my money out of their system so i really dont care about any "trouble" with paypal because in my eyes paypal is in enough trouble with me right now and if its about goods, i bought my girlfriends car. she responded to this with strange snarl and told me that she only wants me to know.
yeah, right bitch.

today i got a mail from another irish paypal support bitch that i have to send in my adress verification, my passport and my creditcard bill. i mailed them back that i already did, two times now and if i have to send it a third time i send them a bill for the time i spend on making copies, sending faxes and of course my phone bill talking to those asshats.

afterall, i talked with around 10 different persons and mailed with the same amount of idiots because if you call in or write a mail you always end up with a different persons and you have to explain yourself and your problem over and over again... and again...
